Speakeasy Hair Co.—known for its drinks and deluxe packages—has expanded its Stockton shop from Miracle Mile to East Hamer Lane to meet growing demand from locals and out-of-towners. The new location will host a UFC watch party today at 5 p.m. to celebrate its grand opening.

The Stockton Unified School District Board of Trustees has scheduled a special meeting at 9:00 a.m. today at the Arthur Coleman Jr. Administration Complex to decide how to fill the Area 2 seat left vacant after former Trustee AngelAnn Flores was removed following her felony conviction. Board members will review legal presentations — and they must decide by November 21 whether to appoint a provisional replacement or hold a special election.
