Good morning, Stockton.

Today Stockton hosts a lineup—featuring the Kings game with Dunkson’s Birthday at Adventist Health Arena and live music at Cast Iron—while tomorrow events include a pottery workshop at In Season Market, a sound bath at Salt and Sage Wellness Studio and pleinair paintout at University of the Pacific’s Burns Tower.

Walmart will host The Wellness Event today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at six pharmacies across San Joaquin County (three in Stockton, one each in Lodi, Manteca, and Tracy), offering free health screenings, vision tests, and affordable vaccines and flu shots.

California public health officials reported that a new H3N2 flu mutation is causing more children to test positive — parents in Stockton should watch for symptoms such as fever, cough, and muscle aches.

Officials are working to monitor the outbreak closely.
