- ➤ Monday morning, a train derailment in Union Pacific’s Stockton Rail Yard knocked over a powerline and left over 15,000 PG&E customers without power — service was expected to resume at 12:15 p.m., while a nearby French Camp outage affecting 1,500 customers was set for restoration by 10:30 a.m. KCRA

- ➤ A swarm of at least 18 earthquakes shook the Bay Area on Monday with the largest — a 4.2 quake — centered about 2.5 miles southeast of San Ramon; tremors reached Stockton. KCRA
