- ➤ Tuesday morning, Stockton officials unveiled an electric fleet of six cars and three charging stations as part of an expanding car sharing program at Oak Park Senior Center, Arnold Rue Community Center and Fair Oaks Library. Rentals via the Míocar app cost $4 per hour or $35 per day. KCRA

- ➤ On Monday, families, students, and staff rallied at KIPP Stockton Middle School to urge SUSD (the school board) to vote on a new high school site at University Park that would keep the middle school open this fall, while community leaders plan to address the matter at Tuesday’s meeting. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Stockton City Council approved a resolution to apply for $7 million federal funds for the University of the Pacific's new med school that will boost local jobs and research + industry, with groundbreaking set for 2027 and classes beginning in 2030. KCRA
- ➤ San Joaquin County officials warned that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act — signed last July — may cut up to $76M from health care and safety-net services, straining hospitals and public programs.
