  • Today Stockton Sailing Club opens its season at 10 a.m. on Buckley Cove Way—offering free boat rides along the San Joaquin River Delta from 1–4 p.m., a photography exhibit, arts and crafts, and kids games—and concludes with a public dinner at 5 p.m. while volunteers sell hot dogs and hamburgers.  Stocktonia

CRIME NEWS

  • Stockton police said that 17-year-old Isaic Aromin-Quintoa was fatally shot in the Seaport District during a double shooting on Wednesday night and another 17-year-old was treated for life-threatening injuries near Lafayette and San Joaquin streets—authorities have not released a motive.  Stocktonia
  • Six men, aged 19—48, were injured in a south Stockton shooting on Friday afternoon near the 500 block of West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard where officers responded at about 2:10 p.m., with three men driving themselves and three taken by paramedics to nearby hospitals after the shooting occurred outside a business near Edison High School, and no arrests have been made as police continue their investigation.  The Stockton Record
  • A 17-year-old, identified as Isaic Aromin-Quintoa, was fatally shot Wednesday night in Stockton’s Seaport District as another teen remains in critical condition—detectives have not yet identified any suspects or a motive.  Stocktonia
