ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday evening, a 30-year-old Stockton man died in a crash in San Joaquin County, according to the California Highway Patrol. KCRA
- ➤ A multi-vehicle wreck at the Wilson Way—Harding Way intersection in Stockton closed the road and prompted police, fire, and ambulance crews to respond on Monday evening near 6:40 p.m.—with four vehicles involved, including a flipped SUV and a damaged motorcycle, while witnesses reported injuries. - ➤ A 25 year old man was arrested in Stockton's Valley Oak District after leading police on a chase following a hit and run at 11:49 p.m. Saturday—he fled on foot when his vehicle stopped and officers discovered he was under the influence and had a firearm. Stocktonia
- ➤ Angi Terlouw was fatally stabbed 21 times in August 2017—a case witnessed by her five-year-old son—and her family remains desperate for justice as her boyfriend Daniel Winkler, accused of the murder and held in custody, is scheduled for trial at the end of May. KCRA
- ➤ Four months into 2025, Stockton police recorded three homicides of young men—on April 2, a 20-year-old was fatally shot in Oak Park with two suspects arrested, and on Wednesday night, a pair of 17-year-olds were shot near Lafayette and San Joaquin streets with one dying and the other in critical condition—while overall homicides fell, and authorities say the shootings do not appear connected.
