- ➤ Stockton police are investigating a shooting that occurred last night at 10:15 p.m. on Lafayette and San Joaquin where two teenagers were shot—one, a 17 year old identified as Isaac Ramon Quinto, died while the other remains critically injured and no suspect has been identified. KCRA

- ➤ On Tuesday, the Stockton City Council rejected an $825,000 homelessness pilot program after staff found that the nonprofit Inner City Action was not properly vetted for its CARE plan to move encampment residents to a temporary tent shelter (3635 Calaveras Ave.).
