- ➤ On Tuesday, the Stockton City Council rejected an $825,000 homelessness pilot program after staff found that the nonprofit Inner City Action was not properly vetted for its CARE plan to move encampment residents to a temporary tent shelter (3635 Calaveras Ave.).
