- ➤ A former Stockton police sergeant, Nicholas Bloed, pleaded guilty to four felony sexual assault charges on March 28 and was sentenced to eight years in prison—he will also register as a sex offender for 10 years. Stocktonia

- ➤ On Wednesday, during the second day of trial for board member AngelAnn Flores, Andrew White (Sentry Insurance special investigator) testified that Flores filed an insurance claim three days after buying a policy even though the accident happened earlier, suggesting possible fraud.
