Closing arguments began Tuesday for board member AngelAnn Flores at San Joaquin Superior Court as prosecutors said she misused district funds — the defense argued that the charges were politically motivated with unreliable evidence.
The defense will resume closing arguments tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 6D.

The California State Fair will run from July 11 until July 27 at Cal Expo in Sacramento with fireworks, free concerts, carnival rides, and food from many vendors.
