CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Stockton police reported two shootings occurred Wednesday night and early Thursday—one near South Fresno Avenue and Navy Drive injured a 30-year-old man who was taken to a hospital, and another on Tristan Circle seriously injured a 36-year-old man, while investigators have not released any suspect information. - ➤ Today, St. Basil's Greek Orthodox Church opened its 66th annual Greek Food Festival in north Stockton, serving Greek dishes such as dolmades, gyros and baklava indoors and outdoors with live music from the band Kymata. The festival began in 1960 and has been held at the church grounds since 1987 — it will run until Sunday with a $5 admission fee and free entry for children 11 and under. Stocktonia
