  • On Monday, Sept. 15, Stockton religious leaders held a candlelight vigil at Swenson Park and condemned political violence after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot. Nearly 300 community members gathered for the event — organized by former Supervisor Tom Patti — and a woman on a bicycle was arrested for misdemeanor simple battery after a brief confrontation with attendees.  The Stockton Record
