ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Lathrop High School student was hit by a car last week near the school and is in critical condition—officials say planned safety improvements include installing a crossing signal by week's end and providing a bus system for students. KCRA
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ At Tuesday’s meeting, Stockton City Council members debated proposed rules that set how ad hoc committees are created and disbanded, and an initial vote defeated the proposal. - ➤ Before today, Stockton City Council voted against the Delta Conveyance Project—also called the Delta Tunnel—citing worries that the plan would lower water quality and hurt fish, wildlife and local farms.
